The Averi Budde Foundation
Currently, the Averi Budde Foundation provides continuing education for pediatric cardiac nurses, financial support to Camp Rhythm, and short-term support to SLCH heart families. The foundation has committed to filling an important niche in improving the care of children with critical cardiac disease. One potential goal/mission of the foundation is to educate pediatric cardiac intensive care nurses and future physicians through the funding of specific, targeted educational programs. Additionally, the foundation serves to fund investigations into improvements in care through a grant mechanism.
